Able Therapy and Coaching, LLC was formed and put into practice by Tyronea (Ty) Williams.  Ty received her MS in Professional Counseling Psychology from Washington Adventist University. She is licensed with the State of MD, license number LC9321.  Ty is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTTP) allowing her to use special knowledge and skills in helping those with trauma. Other modalities Ty incorporates into her practice to assist in treatment are Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Sand Tray therapy, and others. Ty is experienced treating individual with a broad range of mental health illnesses such as PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, anger, and low self-esteem. Ty recognized her passion with helping individuals through difficult times and started her journey in the behavioral health field as a Mental Health Therapist.  Ty is very passionate in her delivery, dedicated to helping clients reach their goals, and filled with optimism and hope.  Ty has facilitated several groups focused on co-occurring disorders as well as trauma support groups. My office is conveniently located in Rosedale, MD at 8307 Philadelphia Road.

We Are Hiring

Able Therapy and Coaching is a growing practice looking to hire two licensed clinicians. Candidates should be Maryland Licensed clinicians with either of the following credentials: LCPC, LCSW-C or LGPC. The position is fully flexible with the clinician making their own schedules. Able Therapy and Coaching offers clinicians the choice between telehealth sessions or in-office sessions. Providing Supervision to LGPC's who need to meet state hour requirements, we provide a strong support system to assist you in becoming an LCPC who is confident in providing services to your clients.

Able Therapy and Coaching currently services adults 18 years and older, families, and couples. Additionally as we continue to expand the business, opportunities to work with adolescents 13+ are within our future plans.
